Taytay bettor wins P21.4 million lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Taytay, Rizal won the jackpot in the 6/45 Megalotto drawn on Friday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reported yesterday.

The bettor guessed the winning combination, 16-13-02-19-11-07, which had a total jackpot of P21,436,089.60.

The PCSO said 55 other bettors, who hit five of the winning numbers, won P32,000 each.

Meanwhile, no ticket matched the winning numbers 44-36-10-45-50-52 in the 6/58 Ultra Lotto, drawn also on Friday.

The PCSO said five bettors won P120,000 each for guessing five of the winning numbers.

Lotto winnings P10,000 and above are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.
