MANILA, Philippines — The diocesan shrine and parish of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Cardona, Rizal announced yesterday the pontifical coronation of the image of its patroness, Nuestra Señora del Sto. Rosario de Cardona, on Oct. 7.
The coronation will be held during a 9 a.m. mass to be presided by Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula.
The event is considered a triple celebration as it coincides with the feast day of the patroness and the 150th year anniversary of the parish.
The parish council and ministries with the supervision of parish priest Fr. Bienvenido Guevarra invites local devotees and those from neighboring towns to take part in the celebration.
