MANILA, Philippines — A part-time driver in Quinapondan, Eastern Samar and an electrician in Naic, Cavite have claimed the jackpot they won in recent lotto draws.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said the bettor from Cavite won the jackpot in the 6/42 Regular Lotto drawn on July 9.
The bettor guessed the winning combination 27-18-26-13-02-03, which had a jackpot of P5.94 million.
The winner said he had been playing lotto in the past 21 years, using the birthdays of his three children.
He said he would invest his winnings for the future of his children.
The bettor from Eastern Samar, on the other hand, won P8.91 million. He guessed the winning numbers 28-10-16-03-25-13 in the 6/45 Mega Lotto drawn on June 24.
He said he has been trying his luck since 2012.
The winner said he would use his winnings to build a house, start a business and provide for the education of his children.
