Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo moderate risk for COVID-19

MANILA, Philippines — Iloilo and Cagayan de Oro cities remain at moderate risk for COVID-19, according to the OCTA Research Group.

OCTA fellow Guido David said the average daily attack rate (ADAR) in Cagayan de Oro is moderate at 2.67 daily new cases per 100,000 people while the positivity rate is high at 12 percent.

Iloilo has an ADAR of 7.85, health care utilization of 54 percent and positivity rate of 10 percent, all considered by OCTA as moderate.

All other highly urbanized and independent component cities in the Visayas and Mindanao may now be considered as low risk for COVID-19.

These are Bacolod, Cebu, Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Ormoc and Tacloban in the Visayas and Butuan, Cotabato, Davao, General Santos, Iligan and Zamboanga in Mindanao.
