2 nabbed for robbery

MANILA, Philippines — Two men were arrested in Barangay Tatalon in Quezon City on Monday night for robbery.

Aries Timola, 20, and Jefferson Ablao, 18, were identified by a woman as the same men who allegedly robbed her at the corner of Araneta Avenue and Kaliraya street at around 11:30 p.m.

Police officers patrolling the area caught the two men and confiscated a .38-caliber handgun and a phone tablet they took from the victim.

Charges of robbery, illegal possession of a firearm and violation of the election-related gun ban are being prepared against the suspects.
