LIBUNGAN, North Cotabato, Philippines — A drunk man set their house on fire, leaving his family homeless in this town on Sunday.
Jay-R Leaño fled after the incident that occurred in Barangay Nicaan.
Leaño’s partner Gladys Cardoza and their three children were rescued by personnel of the Libungan police.
Cardoza and her children were placed under the custody of the municipal police’s Women and Children’s Protection Desk.
Leaño will be charged with arson once he is arrested, according to Libungan police chief Capt. Razul Pandulo.
