4 bettors win P42.9 million lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines — Four players won the P42.9-million jackpot of the 6/42 Lotto draw on Thursday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

Two of the winning tickets were purchased in Makati while the others were bought in Guagua, Pampanga and Maragondon, Cavite.

The winning combination was 23-01-09-24-12-07, with a total prize of P24,945,708.20.

The PCSO said all winnings above P10,000 are subject to a 20-percent tax pursuant to the TRAIN Law.

Prizes that will not be claimed within one year from the draw date shall be considered forfeited, according to the PCSO.
