No lotto draws on Christmas, New Year

MANILA, Philippines — There will be no lotto draws and other lottery games on Christmas Day and New Year, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

Royina Garma, PCSO general manager, said the sale of lotto tickets and draws would be suspended to allow patrons to spend quality time with their families during the holidays.

Garma said draws for Super Lotto 6/49 and Regular Lotto 6/42 on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, respectively, would be held early at 2 p.m.
