SAN JACINTO, Pangasinan, Philippines — An eight-year-old boy died while two others were injured when a sport utility vehicle plowed through eight vehicles parked in Barangay Pag-asa in this town on Sunday.
Mark Jayson Frianeza was declared dead on arrival at the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City, where Cleoneil Dacomos, 19, and Jasper Ibasitas, 13, were also taken for treatment of injuries.
The victims were hanging out in the area when a Nissan Patrol driven by businessman Danilo Regua, 59, crashed into the vehicles.
Regua told probers that he was avoiding another vehicle, causing him to lose control of the wheel.
