Teen nabbed for gunrunning

MANILA, Philippines — A 19-year-old man was arrested for gunrunning in Caloocan City on Friday.

Harold Saballoro was caught in a sting staged by the Northern Police District (NPD)’s special operations unit after he reportedly sold a .38 caliber revolver loaded with three bullets for P1,000 to an undercover police officer in Barangay 132 at around 10:40 a.m.

The NPD said Saballoro was allegedly a sub-leader of the Limos Gang, whose members steal motorcycles in Caloocan and neighboring cities.

He faces charges of violating Republic Act 10591, the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
