MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Valenzuela City won the P5.9-million jackpot of the Regular Lotto 6/42 draw on Saturday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

Royina Garma, PCSO general manager, said the winner guessed the six-digit winning combination 26-05-42-32-15-19.

Twenty-five other bettors will receive a consolation prize of P24,000 each after guessing five digits of the winning combination.

The Valenzuela bettor is the third jackpot winner in the last four draws of the Regular Lotto game, Garma said.

Last Thursday, a player in Ormoc City won the P5.94 million lotto jackpot.

A bettor in Parañaque City became an instant millionaire after winning the P32.9-million jackpot on Saturday.

The PCSO said lotto winnings are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act or TRAIN Law.
