Makati shuts down 3 restaurants
MANILA, Philippines — The city government of Makati has closed down three restaurants for operating without a business permit.
The local government’s public information office said yesterday the three restaurants are the Alama Filipino Pub, Resaurante de Poblacion Inc., and Restaurante Felipe, all located in Barangay Poblacion.
Inspectors from the city’s business permits and licensing office posted copies of the closure order on the three establishments.
Mayor Abigail Binay has ordered a crackdown on commercial establishments illegally operating in the city to protect the interest of legitimate businesses, Makati residents and the general public.
