SoKor fugitive turned over to BI

MANILA, Philippines — The Pasig City police yesterday turned over one of South Korea’s wanted fugitives for deportation.

Park Voram, 39,  was turned over to personnel of the Bureau of Immigration and the South Korean embassy at around 10:10 a.m. City police chief Col. Roman Arugay said Park was arrested in Barangay Ugong last Aug. 25 at around 3:50 p.m.

The suspect is allegedly a member of a voice phishing syndicate that scammed 3.4 billion South Korean won from their victims from 2012 to 2013.
