MANILA, Philippines — Four more fatalities in the crash of a C-130 plane in Sulu early this month have been identified.
Identified were the remains of Army Sgt. Nelson Sadjail, Cpl. Alhamin Salahuddin and Pfcs. Alzid Hawrani and Nazer Albaracin.
“The Western Mindanao Command has reached out to the loved ones of the identified personnel while their remains are being prepared for transport and proper burial,” the Armed Forces of the Philippines said in a statement.
Seventeen other bodies of the soldiers killed in the crash are undergoing identification process.
The C-130 transport plane was carrying soldiers and civilians when it overshot a runway, killing 50 soldiers aside from three civilians on the ground.
