Makati to start house-to-house COVID-19 vaccination

MANILA, Philippines — The Makati City government will start inoculating bedridden residents against COVID-19, Mayor Abby Binay said yesterday.

The program, called “Vax H2H” or “Vaccine House-to-House,” would start in Barangays Cembo and Pio del Pilar, she said.

The city government advised residents to await further announcements on the program.

As of Thursday, 156,265 people in Makati received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine while 98,397 others were deemed fully vaccinated.

This means that over 35 percent of the 437,192 residents targeted for vaccination got their first dose while over 22.5 percent completed their required doses.
