P2 million shabu seized in Taguig

MANILA, Philippines — More than P2 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu was seized from two persons in a sting in Taguig on Wednesday.

Halima Utto Macalunas, 48, and Ponggo Mama Pagayao, 20, reportedly sold P65,000 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer along Cagayan de Oro street in Barangay Maharlika, according to the National Capital Region Police Office.

Police seized around 300 grams of shabu with a street value of P2.04 million from the suspects.
