Baguio bettor wins P29.7 million lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor from Baguio City won the P29.7-million jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto drawn on Monday, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

The bettor hit the winning combination 13-19-43-33-41-46.

Another bettor guessed five of the winning numbers and won P100,000.

The winners will not be able to take home the entire jackpot as lotto winnings above P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax. This means P5.9 million will be deducted from the winnings of the Baguio bettor.

The PCSO had earlier reminded the public that winnings unclaimed within one year from the date of the draw shall be forfeited.
