MANILA, Philippines — A man who reportedly shot dead a 15-year-old boy in Pasig City last Wednesday was arrested in Parañaque City on Friday.

Anwar Domado was apprehended by police officers in Barangay Baclaran at around 7 p.m., according to Pasig police chief Col. Roman Arugay.

“A case of murder is now being readied for filing against him,” Arugay said in a text message.

Domado went into hiding after he shot RapRap Misa in Barangay Palatiw on Wednesday at around 11 p.m.

The victim’s father, Raul, said in a television interview over GMA News that his son ran errands for neighbors for money and Domado reportedly shot his son in the head when the boy refused his request to buy soft drinks.

Raul said his son told the suspect he was tired and needed to rest.
