4 found dead in Tagaytay

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Four persons reported missing in Bacoor City, Cavite on Dec. 19 have been found dead in Tagaytay City.

Three of four corpses were identified as Lino Quilaneta, Mark Ian Endrina and Gleiar Bondoc.

The bodies of Quilaneta and Endrina were retrieved in a creek along the Tagaytay Sampaloc road in Barangay San Jose at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

The two other bodies were recovered in the deeper portion of the creek on Wednesday.

Police said workers of the Department of Public Works and Highway discovered the cadavers when they smelled a foul odor coming from the creek.

The victims and three unidentified teenagers were reportedly drinking liquor when they were snatched by unidentified men in Barangay Ligas 1.

The suspects reportedly released the three teenagers in Las Piñas City.

An investigation is ongoing.
