Laguna cop gunned down

LAGUNA, Philippines — A policeman was shot dead in Barangay Pittland in Cabuyao City yesterday.

S/Sgt.Christian Ramos, who was assigned at the Regional Holding and Accounting Unit at Camp Vicente Lim, was on his motorcycle when he was shot by unidentified men on another motorbike before 10 a.m.

Lt. Col. Gilmore Wasin, city police director, said six bullet casings for a caliber .45 pistol were recovered at the scene.

A manhunt for the suspects is underway.
