Cameroon man slain in Pasay
MANILA, Philippines — A Cameroonian man was shot dead by a still unidentified assailant in Pasay City on Monday night.
Divine Njua Komfun, 47, reported to be a bar owner, was walking along Arnaiz street when he was attacked at around 11:30 p.m., according to a police spot report.
Komfun died at the scene, where crime scene investigators recovered a .45 caliber bullet casing. The bullet had hit the victim in the neck.
National Capital Region Police Office chief Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas said Komfun was about to meet someone when he was killed. The investigation is ongoing, he added.
