Man nabbed for drugs, gun

MANILA, Philippines — A suspected drug pusher was arrested for alleged possession of P75,000 worth of shabu and a gun during an anti-narcotics operation in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City before dawn yesterday.

Emmanuel Orulfo, 40, was nabbed shortly after he allegedly handed a pack of shabu to a police officer who posed as a buyer outside his house in Barangay 176 at around 1:30 a.m.

Orulfo allegedly yielded three sachets of shabu and a loaded .38-caliber handgun.

Police said they hatched the sting after receiving information that the suspect was allegedly pushing drugs.

In Manila, five persons, including 60-yeard-old Rex Andres, were apprehended in separate drug stings in Tondo, Pandacan and Binondo.
