Magnitude 4.5 quake shakes Sarangani

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.5 earthquake jolted Sarangani yesterday.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake occurred at around 3:38 a.m., with its epicenter traced 35 kilometers southwest of Glan town.
Phivolcs said the tremor was recorded at Intensity 1 in Alabel and Malungon in Sarangani and General Santos City.
No damage or aftershocks were expected from the quake, the agency said.
