SAN FELIPE, Zambales, Philippines – A woman died in a fire that broke out at a resettlement area in Barangay Sto. Niño in this town on Tuesday.
A police report said the body of Rosita Renolo, 79, was found in one of the bunkhouses used by 22 families.
Probers said the fire, which started at around 11 a.m., was declared under control before 4 p.m.
The fire was reportedly caused by faulty electrical wiring.
The affected families are taking shelter in a covered court.
