MALOLOS, Philippines — A drug suspect was killed in a sting in Plaridel, Bulacan on Thursday night.
Regann Bautista, who was on the town’s drug watchlist, drew his gun when he sensed he had sold shabu to undercover agents in Barangay Sto. Niño at around 11:50 p.m., Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police director, said.
Cajipe said a caliber .38 revolver, 20 sachets of shabu and marked money were recovered from the fatality.
Twelve other drug suspects were arrested in San Jose del Monte City and Bulakan. They reportedly yielded 51 sachets of shabu, 20 sachets of marijuana and marked money.
