P.4 million shabu seized in Rizal

MANILA, Philippines — At least P428,400 worth of shabu were seized in different operations from five suspected drug traffickers in Rizal province in the past two days.

Three of the suspects were arrested for possession of 26 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P176,800 in Cainta yesterday.

Mary Grace Santos, Jayson Omana and Jessica Gaerland were collared at around 1 a.m. after they allegedly sold shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Sto. Domingo.

On Saturday night, at least P251,600 worth of shabu were reportedly seized from Dyna Rose Andes and Mark Charlieson Patricio in Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez town.

Charges of violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act will be filed against the suspects today, police said.
