ABRA, Philippines — A farmer was killed in a gun attack in Abra yesterday.
Ginely Barbosa, 27, was driving his tricycle in Barangay Macray, Bangued when the gunmen appeared from a forested area along the Abra-Kalinga Road and shot him twice.
Barbosa was brought to the Seares Memorial Hospital and later transferred to the Abra Provincial Hospital, where he died while being treated.
Tricycle driver Mario Maraña was shot by his passenger in Barangay Kinabuhayan, Dolores, Quezon on Tuesday. He died at the scene.
Investigations into the killings are ongoing.
