2 Cagayan cops held for betting in cockfight

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — Two police officers caught betting in a cockpit in Barangay Bagumbayan, Tuao, Cagayan were arrested on Sunday.

M/Sgts. Victor Angoluan, 41, and Robert Fernando, 31, of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and Calayan police, respectively, were accosted by personnel of the Regional Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Team at around 2 p.m., Col. Ariel Quilang, Cagayan police director, said. 

Police officers are prohibited from entering gambling joints.
