Pangasinan municipal employee shot dead

CALASIAO, Pangasinan, Philippines — A municipal employee in this town was gunned down in Barangay Ambonao-Nansangaan on Friday.

Police said Edu Gabriana, 42, was driving home on his motorcycle when he was shot several times by unidentified men on another motorbike.

Although wounded, Gabriana managed to run toward a residential compound, where he sought help. He was brought to the Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital, Dagupan City, where he died while being treated.

Probers have yet to determine the motive for the killing.
