LRT-2 shortens trips on December 24, 31

The shortened operating hours is in anticipation of the decline in ridership during these dates, and to allow station and security personnel to celebrate the holidays with their families, according to the LRT-2 management.

MANILA, Philippines — The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) announced yesterday it would shorten trips on Dec. 24 and 31.

The shortened operating hours is in anticipation of the decline in ridership during these dates, and to allow station and security personnel to celebrate the holidays with their families, according to the LRT-2 management.

The last trips from Cubao station in Quezon City and Recto station in Manila will be at 8 p.m. on Dec. 24.

On Dec. 31, the last trains will leave the stations at around 7:30 p.m.        –
