MANILA, Philippines — Police are eyeing four suspects in the reported kidnapping of a Chinese woman said to be an employee of a Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) in Makati last week.

Probers earlier tagged Chen Tangbin, partner of supposed kidnap victim Zhou Mei, 28, and Zhu Jianwei in the incident.

City police chief investigator Maj. Gideon Ines said they were looking into reports that Zhou was kidnapped after she allegedly stole confidential information from the POGO company.

Zhou was seen in a viral video being dragged by at least three Chinese men into a Kia Carnival (LSA-880) at the corner of Paseo de Roxas and Nieva streets.

Police said the vehicle turned out to be a Chrysler car, which was sold to a Chinese man who is being considered as one of the suspects.

Chen and Zhu were intially considered by police as persons of interest. But city police chief Col. Rogelio Simon cleared the two following an investigation.
