Motorcycle rider dies in bus crash

MANILA, Philippines — A motorcycle rider died after being run over by a passenger bus in Quezon City yesterday morning.

Fitch Burch dela Cruz, 32, was pronounced dead on arrival at the General Malvar Hospital.

Police said Dela Cruz was on a motorcycle heading to Philcoa when he was hit and run over by a Golden Dragon bus along the southbound lane of Commonwealth Avenue in Barangay Holy Spirit.

Probers said they have yet to identify the bus driver, who fled on foot after the accident.
