Couple arrested for shabu

MANILA, Philippines — A couple was apprehended in a drug sting that yielded P136,000 worth of shabu in Quezon City over the weekend.

Ayzel Jay Santos, 30, and her partner Alvin Macapagat, 36, were nabbed at their house along NPC Mendez street in Barangay Baesa.

Authorities said the suspects were on the drug watchlist of the Batasan police station.

Police said they recovered from the couple around 20 grams of shabu and the marked money.

Five other drug suspects were collared in Barangays Bagbag and Central.

They were RJ Bunganga, 36; Jason Herrera, 40; Charissa de Guzman, 36; Jerald Abria, 25, and Raymun Bolivar, 24.
