Makati roads closed to traffic on May 31

MANILA, Philippines — Some roads in Makati will be closed to motorists starting at 1 p.m. tomorrow to give way to the annual “Flores de Mayo.”

In an advisory, the local government said the procession would start from the Makati city hall quadrangle to the Globe Circuit event grounds passing the streets of Homiga, Tabajo, Hippodromo and AP Reyes.

Motorists are advised to look for alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.

The city hall said a stop-and-go scheme would be implemented along A.P. Reyes street during the procession.
