MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.6 earthquake hit Camarines Sur yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
Phivolcs said the tremor struck 10 kilometers northeast of Sipocot town at around 12:38 p.m.
The temblor was felt at Intensity 5, which is classified as strong, in Sipocot and Intensity 3 in Daet, also in Camarines Sur.
The quake had a depth of six kilometers and was tectonic in origin.
Phivolcs said it was not expecting aftershocks from the quake.
