MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.5 earthquake jolted Batanes yesterday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
The epicenter of the tremor, which occurred at about 11:46 a.m., was located 71 kilometers southwest of Sabtang.
The quake was felt at Intensity 2 in the province.
