Makati’s most wanted arrested at Davao airport

MANILA, Philippines — The second most wanted person in Makati City was arrested at the Davao International Airport on Wednesday.

Glenn Joseph Alompon, 24, was collared by personnel of the National Capital Region Police Office and Davao City police based on a warrant for murder issued by Makati City Regional Trial Court Branch 143 Judge Maximo de Leon.

Alompon denied he was the subject of the warrant of arrest and even presented a clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation under the name of Ricky Peralta Rosete.

However, during tactical interrogation, Alompon admitted that he killed a certain Joel Alimodian on January 2015 and that Rosete was his late uncle.

Alompon said he went into hiding in Pangasinan, Bulacan and Davao City following the killing of Alimodian.
