2 drug suspects gunned down in Tacurong City

TACURONG CITY, Philippines — Anti-narcotic agents here shot dead on Tuesday two alleged major drug dealers for resisting arrest.

Bassir Kamaong and Rashid Batunan opened fire at the agents of the Police Regional Office 12 and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), said Superintendent Aldrin Gonzalez, PRO 12 spokesman.

Kamaong and Batunan were on the drug list of the PRO 12 and PDEA. They were  allegedly distributing large volumes of shabu in Maguindanao and Sultan Kudarat provinces.
