2 dead in Caloocan sting

MANILA, Philippines — Two suspected pushers were killed by police in a drug bust in Bagong Silang, Caloocan at past midnight yesterday. 

The suspects, identified only as Bert and Nad, allegedly fought back during the sting along Phase 8A Road in Barangay 176, according to the Caloocan police north extension office head Inspector Ronald Batalla.  

Their cohort, identified only as Boy Negro, eluded arrest.

Police confiscated three sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu and two .38 caliber revolvers from the suspects.
