Body dumped in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines — An unidentified man, said to be a victim of summary execution, was found dead in Quezon City yesterday.

Senior Inspector Rohaina Asalan, Quezon City Police District spokesperson, said the victim’s corpse – placed inside a plastic garbage bag sealed with masking tape – was discovered by a street sweeper in front of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology office along C.P. Garcia Avenue in Barangay Diliman at around 7 a.m.

The victim was described to be between 40 to 45 years old, about 5’4” in height, with a slim build and fair complexion.

The victim had name tattoos “Boyong Reyes” and “Sampaga Baby” written on his chest.

The man’s corpse was brought to a funeral parlor for autopsy.
