2 dead in motorcycle crash in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO, Philippines — Two persons died while two others were injured in separate vehicular accidents in Cagayan on Tuesday. 

Jommy Talaro, 46, died at the scene after his motorcycle figured in an accident in front of the Philippine Marines headquarters in Barangay Mission, Sta. Teresita town.

Talaro’s companions – Desmond Toloza, 45, and Dominador Tabuac, 44 – were rushed to the Alfonso Ponce Enrile Memorial District Hospital in nearby Gonzaga town for treatment.

Reports said Talaro and his friends were on their way home from a drinking session.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, John Teody Andres, 21, was declared dead on arrival at a hospital after his motorcycle collided with a van in Barangay Baculud, Igig town.

Van driver Jacky Corpuz said Andres was driving at top speed.

Corpuz was brought to the police station for questioning.
