20 nabbed for drugs in Metro Manila

MANILA, Philippines — At least 20 suspected pushers and users were arrested in Metro Manila over the past two days.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said 17 persons were arrested in Pasay, Makati and Las Piñas.

In Pasay, Willy Olivarez and Michael Lutas were arrested in Barangay 94 while Rosemarie Bongo, Estrella Cabreros, Jonathan Beltran and Jose Corales were arrested in Barangay 186. 

Rico Serantes and Ronald Aquino were caught in a sting in Barangay 177.

Eight sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu were seized from the eight suspects.

In Makati, Jerome Ascora, Renz Arganio and Princess Talino were arrested along Kalayaan Avenue while Marilou Reyes, Junrey Campos, Sonny Jackson and Darius Larios were nabbed in Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo.  

Sixteen sachets of shabu and drug paraphernalia were seized from the suspects. 

In Las Piñas, Ryan Rey Suplito was arrested in Barangay Almanza Uno after he was allegedly caught using illegal drugs. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from him. 

In Pasig, Jerwin Saballa and Sam Ranaig were arrested in Barangay Pinagbuhatan and Benjie Pagdanganan in Barangay Sta. Lucia.
