The others are Santa Maria, 12; Balagtas, nine; Paombong, eight; Marilao, six;  Bocaue, Guiguinto, Hagonoy and San Ildefonso with five each; Obando four; Bulakan, Bustos and San Rafael with three each; Pulilan , two, and one each in Angat, Norzagaray, Plaridel and San Miguel as well as in the city of Malolos.

Meanwhile, in Laguna, an alleged major drug trafficker was killed in an encounter in Calamba on Monday.

The suspect, identified as Omar Arip Badon, reportedly resisted arrest and shot the officers during a sting in Barangay Pansol.

The suspect reportedly sold P400,000 worth of shabu to undercover agents.

Badon’s death is expected to reduce the supply of illegal drugs in the province, according to Senior Superintendent Eleazar Matta, Laguna police chief. – Ed Amoroso, Non Alquitran
