MALOLOS, Philippines — A bomb threat disrupted classes at the Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School in this city yesterday, the third in Bulacan in a span of nine days.
One of the teachers identified as Napoleon Perez received a text message at around 7:59 a.m. that a bomb would explode in the school either yesterday or today, Senior Superintendent Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, quoting a report of the school principal Reynaldo Diaz.
A security sweep by a bomb disposal unit of the First Provincial Mobile Force Company yielded negative results.
On Monday and Friday last week, students of the Bulacan State University also received bomb threats.
