MANILA, Philippines — A woman died in an accident along the highway in Barangay Poblacion, Toledo City, Cebu on Friday afternoon.
Jury Tolentino, 48, was riding a motorcycle driven by Juan Lumactod, 48, on their way to Pinamungajan town when it was hit by a dump truck. She was thrown off the motorbike due to the impact of the crash.
The truck driver, Maximo Payusan Jr., 27, was arrested by responding police officers.
