LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — A three-year-old boy died while his two playmates were injured when a steel bar fell on them in Naga City on Saturday afternoon.
Carlo Cardinas was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of head injuries. He died two hours later, according to Senior Inspector Malou Calubaquib, spokesperson for the Bicol police.
Cardinas’ friends – Nidiel Monteroso and Ezekiel Arquilla, both seven years old – suffered injuries and were declared out of danger.
Reports said the children along with a certain Ricky Olaso, 37, were playing in a swing at a construction site in Barangay Cararayan when the accident occurred at around 5:30 p.m.
