CAMP VICENTE LIM, Philippines — Around 20 inmates escaped from a custodial center at the old police station in Barangay Talaba, Bacoor, Cavite yesterday.
Chief Superintendent Edward Carranza, Calabarzon police director, said the inmates rushed out when the gate was opened when one of the inmates was brought back to his cell after his mug shot was taken.
Carranza said three escapees were arrested in pursuit operations.
”As of now we don’t know the exact number of escapees and their respective cases,” he said.
