LIST: Class suspensions for June 14

Some classes are suspended on Thursday, June 14, due to bad weather.

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE 2: June 14, 2018; 12:00 p.m.) – Classes in some provinces and cities are suspended on Thursday, June 14 due to the bad weather caused by habagat or southwest monsoon.

As early as Wednesday, a number of local governments already announced the suspension of classes.

Rains are still expected over parts of Luzon today due to the southwest monsoon, PAGASA warned on Thursday.

In its 4 a.m. daily weather forecast, PAGASA said the southwest monsoon or habagat continues to prevail and bring moderate to occasionally heavy rain. 

Among the areas affected are Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, Cavite, Batangas, Bataan and Zambales.

The rest of Luzon is expected to experience cloudy skies with rainshowers.
