MANILA, Philippines — Three suspects have been killed in anti-drug operations in Bulacan and Laguna.

Dennis Santos resisted arrest and fired at police officers in Barangay Santisima, Malolos on Friday, Superintendent Heryl Bruno, city police chief, said.

Police said Santos was the top drug suspect in his barangay.

A caliber .38 revolver and 15 sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P40,000 were reportedly recovered from the fatality.

In Laguna, Raymond Angeles and a certain Anjo allegedly drew their guns when they sensed they had transacted with police officers in Barangay Bucal, Calamba after midnight yesterday.

They reportedly yielded two .38-caliber revolvers, 12 sachets of shabu and P1,700 in cash.

Superintendent Rossel Cejas, Calamba police chief, said the fatalities are known suppliers of shabu in the city and nearby areas.
