Isko Moreno named DSWD usec

MANILA, Philippines — President Duterte has appointed former Manila vice mayor Isko Moreno as undersecretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Moreno’s appointment came seven months after he resigned as chairman of the North Luzon Railways Corp.  He was appointed to the NLRC in July last year.

Moreno is the 10th DSWD undersecretary.

Malacañang released Moreno’s papers on May 8, along with  the appointments of  Poro Point Management Corp. chairman Serwin Rigor as undersecretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources as well as Antonio Joselito Lambino III, Ayala Corp. head for public policy and association, as assistant secretary of the Department of Finance.

Duterte also named Gerard Camina as member of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority board of directors. – Rainier  Allan Ronda
